What do sports, health, events, tourism, hospitality, and wellness have in common? They’re all part of fun and exciting career paths you can explore in the School of Health & Human Sciences (SHHS) at IU Indianapolis through Discover SHHS!

Discover SHHS is an affordable, three-day overnight summer experience designed for high school juniors and seniors. You’ll take part in hands-on activities and explore several majors, including:

Health sciences, exercise science, applied fitness and sports performance, including pre-health program pathways
Physical education teacher education
Event management, sport management, tourism, and hospitality

No matter your interests, you’ll get a firsthand look at college life and discover opportunities in some of today’s most in-demand and growing careers.

Details

You’ll stay in North Hall, one of the university’s residence halls, and be assigned a roommate for the duration of camp. Housing and meals are included in the $50 registration fee.

Eligibility: Registration is limited to students who will be in grades 11 and 12 in the 2025-2026 academic year and any student who has applied to SHHS, or student admitted to University College at IU Indianapolis with intent to explore or study at SHHS.
