Daily Campus VisitS

Walking Tours. Bike Tours. Academic Experiences.

Admission Presentation and Campus Tour

Daily campus tours introduce you to student life at IU Indy. All daily tours start with a 30-minute admission presentation that will give you an overview of all IU Indy has to offer! You’ll learn about how to apply for school, scholarships and financial aid. After your information session, a Jaguar student will lead you on a 60-minute walking tour of IU Indy. You’ll see dorm rooms, academic buildings, our natatorium, and more! Our campus ambassadors can answer questions with firsthand experience about student life and campus. You’ll also gain a glimpse into the heart of downtown Indianapolis—giving you a sense of what it’s like to be a Jaguar.

Limited space remains for August tours. Please call the Office of Admissions at 317-274-4591 or email us at apply@iu.edu to schedule.

Enhance your experience

Academic School Sessions

You add this experience when registering for your campus tour. Academic School Sessions immediately follow the campus tour and occur from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. if paired with the morning tour or 3:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m. if paired with the afternoon tour.

Bike Tours

Offered on Fridays in the fall, this tour is designed to show you how easy the campus is to navigate, while also having a chance to explore downtown Indianapolis! Plus, you’ll mingle with fellow students while strolling through campus on your bikes. Helmets are not provided.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to come and attend a special presentation just for them! Additionally, there’s a walking tour option for parents and guardians who don’t want to go out on bikes.
